Members will be updated on industry issues and Association efforts, as well as have the opportunity to discuss their concerns during the open forum portion of the evening. Second Annual MTA/NJ Marine Shoot Off

Tune up your marksmanship for the winter season with a round of sporting clays at Red Wing Sporting Clays Facility in Port Republic, New Jersey at the MTA/NJ’s Second Annual Marine Shoot Off. The event will be Monday, November 10, 2008 from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Proceeds from the event will go into the MTA/NJ PAC Fund to help support key legislators supporting the New Jersey recreational marine industry.
The event is open to novice and experience shooters. Teams of four will compete on a sporting clay course which consists of 50 targets. The MTA/NJ will place anyone who does not have a team of four into a group the day of the shooting. Following the competition, a barbeque lunch will be served.
Red Wing will provide guns, ear plugs and glasses for anyone that needs them. They will also be selling shells; two boxes for $15.00; or anyone can bring their own. The cost per person is $70, not including the cost for shells. Coffee and donuts and a barbecue lunch are included. Click here for the reservation form.
